Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, verify credentials and/or shipment-related paperwork as directed by site policies, and report discrepancies for follow-up.
• Support daily operations by observing truck traffic, pedestrian movement, and high-volume areas, while communicating clearly with site personnel regarding security-related matters and response needs.
