Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support access control activities, assist employees and visitors with professionalism, and deliver strong communication and customer service while reflecting a caring, agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven team culture.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, facility concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and document security-related events, deliveries, and/or contractor arrivals.
• Support order at the location by communicating with site contacts, following post instructions, and assisting with traffic, entry, and/or restricted area control as needed.
