As a Security Officer Alarm Response Driver in Big Island, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms or access concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorized personnel and visitors, and documenting required information.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
