As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Route Patrol in GRAND PRAIRIE, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, document observations, and provide professional customer service. Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and report access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, business areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.
