Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a commercial real estate location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
Communicate observations, concerns, and/or maintenance-related issues to site leadership, Allied Universal supervision, and appropriate personnel.
