As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role in Stuarts Draft, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post includes operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policy. Bring strong communication and customer service skills while contributing through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first culture.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout food and beverage production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, facility concerns, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, maintaining accurate logs and communicating observed concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support a professional and orderly work environment by reporting hazards, damaged property, or policy violations through appropriate channels.
