As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail mall location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, storefronts, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, property damage, hazards, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while communicating relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
