As a Security Officer Unarmed Tower in Highland Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will serve at the front desk, greeting residents and guests, managing access, and supporting security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for role.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Guard card is required.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
  • Monitor the front desk area, verify identification and/or visitor information, manage guest check-in procedures, and document entries, deliveries, and other front desk activity.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, provide directions and information, receive packages and deliveries according to site procedures, and help support orderly operations in the lobby and entrance areas.
  • Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation, observe for unusual or suspicious activity, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent front desk presence and security-related procedures.
