As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Patrol in Nottingham, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout common areas, parking areas, storefront perimeters, and other assigned sections of the location to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points, observe foot traffic, and assist with crowd management, closing procedures, and/or after-hours checks as directed by site-specific requirements.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or customer service interactions in required reports, and communicate clearly with management, tenants, and/or local responders when needed.
