You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Using computer or tablet systems, you will document security-related activities while collaborating with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Have customer service experience, preferred.
Have access control or badge experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, observe incoming and outgoing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and report unusual activity according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
