As an unarmed patrol officer at a residential condominium community, you will conduct routine foot patrols of common areas, garages, and perimeter spaces, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to resident and guest needs with clear communication and customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a residential condominium location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Control access by verifying credentials, managing visitor and vendor entry, and directing deliveries according to property procedures.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and other building systems as assigned, and report irregular conditions to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document observations in written reports, and communicate updates to appropriate parties.
