As a Security Officer Unarmed Rover Full Time in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and providing exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while supporting security-related operations. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and/or authorization, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
Control access to shipping, receiving, warehouse, and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and protect operational continuity.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building entrances, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations; report security-related observations and irregularities.
