Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing updates with site contacts and/or supervisors as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed, and support lobby and reception processes in line with location policies.
Assist with incident reporting, alarm response, and security-related checks of doors, gates, and other access points to support daily operations and business continuity.
