As a Security Officer Route Driver in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, support badge and visitor processes, and remain visible to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout a technology campus, including buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Complete accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
