About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Route Driver in Cantonment, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while bringing agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

  • A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, administrative spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help follow property rules for restricted and sensitive areas.
  • Complete routine reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and relay important updates during shift changes to support ongoing security-related operations.
