As a Security Officer Unarmed Retail Patrol in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and store personnel by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to management and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and unusual behavior.
• Monitor for shoplifting indicators, policy violations, and other security-related issues, and communicate clearly with store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervisors regarding incidents and follow-up needs.
• Support opening and closing procedures, observe customer and employee traffic, and assist with maintaining an orderly environment across the location.
