About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Residential Mobile in Wellington, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, corrections, military police, or criminal justice degree.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Guard card is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential community grounds, common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, documenting entries, incidents, and/or observations accurately and promptly.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with residents and site management, completing required daily activity reports and incident documentation.
