Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access activity with professionalism and care. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard card is required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and other restricted zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, and/or vehicle entries in accordance with location requirements, reporting suspicious activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Support daily operations by preparing reports, maintaining accurate activity records, and following post orders related to utility infrastructure, equipment areas, and/or after-hours access.
