About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Erwin, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors and staff, and communicate professionally while documenting observations. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors at a government tourism location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a public-facing environment.
