About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support access control and badge processes. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, exterior grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment and help to deter unauthorized access through a professional presence and adherence to site procedures.
