As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Reporting in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and use computer or tablet tools as needed. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Assist with the protection of financial institution operations by observing activity, reporting policy violations or maintenance concerns, and communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
