As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government utility location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be able to ride a bike.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Be able to lift up to 20 lbs, preferred.
Have customer service experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government utility location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, restricted zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Monitor entrances, gates, and/or access points, verifying credentials and assisting visitors, contractors, and employees in accordance with site protocols.
Support site operations by communicating with local personnel and/or public-facing contacts, helping to address routine concerns and maintain order throughout the location.
