As a Security Officer Experienced Driver Patrol in Redwood City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
  • Respond to incidents, campus-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and report security-related issues, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site guidelines.
  • Support students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty with directions, general assistance, and responses to routine questions while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
