As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Williamsburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor, contractor, and/or delivery access procedures in accordance with site protocols.
• Support facility operations by communicating clearly with staff, assisting during alarms or evacuations, and completing required logs, reports, and other post duties accurately and on time.
