As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Columbus, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of armed security-related experience, law enforcement experience, and/or military experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and report concerns involving restricted or controlled areas.
• Support day-to-day site operations by communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, while following Allied Universal standards and post instructions.
