About The Position

As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support site personnel through strong customer service and communication. This unarmed role offers the chance to work in a fast-moving environment where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity guide each shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, operational disruptions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observed concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or delivery activity as directed, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or policy concerns according to site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with directional guidance, restricted access, and communication during alarms, evacuations, and/or other time-sensitive events.
