About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Walks in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Hospital vaccines are required.
  • The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, reporting concerns, and coordinating with on-site staff and/or first responders as directed.
  • Control access at designated entry points by observing for authorized entry, monitoring visitor flow, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or hazards to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, activity logs, and required documentation, and communicate security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
