As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an industrial manufacturing location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and monitor assigned areas for unusual activity. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site leaders, and provide customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, unusual activity, and/or property concerns per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, assist with visitor management, and/or verify credentials as required by site policies and post orders.
• Complete shift activity logs, incident reports, and/or other required documentation, and communicate timely updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
