As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Vehicle Driver in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies, maintaining professional communication with employees, contractors, and guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
