About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Unit in West Chester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observed conditions according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or access points while observing daily activity and communicating with property management and/or first responders when needed.
• Support a professional presence throughout the location by assisting with directions, visitor interactions, and/or reporting of security-related issues and policy concerns.
