About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Team in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while supporting staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures, including observing visitor movement and/or reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activity in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
