Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns through proper channels.
Support healthcare location operations by assisting with directions, de-escalating tense situations, and following post orders related to privacy, restricted areas, and security-related procedures.
