As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Surveillance in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of security-related, military, or law enforcement experience, or an associate degree in criminal justice, is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site guidelines.
• Support a professional atmosphere by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with routine security-related inquiries while maintaining awareness of changing conditions at the location.
