As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Support in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist customers and team members with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, document observations using computer or tablet tools, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to customers, employees, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Monitor access points and observe activity at the location, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to site management and/or appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate daily activity reports and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
