As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor guidance. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to issues with professionalism. Requirements

• Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience OR 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years' security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to client personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial production and/or warehouse location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting actions taken per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, loading docks, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or irregular conditions.
• Control access by monitoring entrances, gates, and delivery points, verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization, and directing trucks and vendors to designated check-in areas as required.
• Complete routine reports and logs, perform security-related checks of doors and alarms as assigned, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or the client point of contact.
