About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in CHERRY HILL, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and respond to requests with calm, professional communication and strong customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare manufacturing and office location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or suspicious conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with onsite contacts and public emergency responders as directed by post orders.
• Monitor entry points and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document deliveries, visitor movement, and contractor activity in accordance with site policies.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, patrol observations, and incident response actions, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and onsite client representatives.
