About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Services in Eden Prairie, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report policy violations, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior according to post instructions.
  • Support a professional environment by providing directions, assisting with routine inquiries, and communicating clearly with patients, visitors, staff, and/or first responders during urgent situations.
