About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Services in Titusville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor access to aerospace and defense-related facilities, verify credentials and authorization, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and prepare clear, accurate reports.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or facility concerns.
Support the protection of sensitive business operations and assets by following post orders, maintaining confidentiality, and escalating security-related concerns through established channels.
