As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a memorial park, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to visitors and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and support a respectful environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, families, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a memorial park and cultural institution location.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout grounds, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Assist with access control, traffic and parking flow during services, events, and periods of increased visitation in accordance with site procedures.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
