As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Role in Claude, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor access as directed, and help support organized movement of personnel, deliveries, and shipments within a food and beverage environment.
• Observe operational areas for policy violations, hazards, and/or irregular conditions, and report concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site representatives.
