As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Property Protection in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, retailers, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an upscale retail and shopping destination.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and adjacent property to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report unusual conditions, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate clearly with site management, Allied Universal leadership, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed.
