As a Security Officer Unarmed - Patrol Presence in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant activity and/or notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures while reporting concerns and/or suspicious behavior.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing trailer yards, freight movement areas, and high-traffic locations for policy compliance and/or potential security-related issues.
