As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident documentation.
Report damaged equipment, unsecured areas, suspicious activity, and other site concerns to the appropriate contacts in accordance with established procedures.
