As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Premises Monitoring in Fort Lauderdale, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor, vehicle, and delivery records in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations to site contacts and appropriate responders.
• Observe cargo-handling and transportation activity for unusual conditions and communicate security-related concerns according to established procedures.
