Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.
  • Have alarm panel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues to property management and/or appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor access points and activity within the location to help support authorized entry, visitor direction, and adherence to site rules and/or building procedures.
  • Assist with alarms, disturbances, and maintenance-related concerns by communicating clearly with tenants, visitors, and/or emergency responders while following post orders and client guidelines.
