Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Have customer service experience preferred.
Have alarm panel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues to property management and/or appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
Monitor access points and activity within the location to help support authorized entry, visitor direction, and adherence to site rules and/or building procedures.
Assist with alarms, disturbances, and maintenance-related concerns by communicating clearly with tenants, visitors, and/or emergency responders while following post orders and client guidelines.
