Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy financial institution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, verify credentials when required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy concerns.
  • Support daily operations by completing incident reports, communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and following post orders for assigned duties and/or changing conditions.
