About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol First Aid Support in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to riders, staff, and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns and support a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-driven, and integrity-focused values.

Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Handcuffing certification is preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transportation facilities.
Respond to incidents, service disruptions, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, transit facilities, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
Monitor access points, restricted areas, and public spaces; assist with access control and direct individuals to appropriate resources when needed.
Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as appropriate.
