About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol First Aid Support in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to riders, staff, and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns and support a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-driven, and integrity-focused values.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transportation facilities.
  • Respond to incidents, service disruptions, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, transit facilities, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Monitor access points, restricted areas, and public spaces; assist with access control and direct individuals to appropriate resources when needed.
  • Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as appropriate.
