About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Expert in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of security-related, military, or law enforcement experience, or an associate’s degree in criminal justice, is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting details through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution location, including interior areas, entry points, and perimeter areas, as assigned.
• Monitor access to the location by observing visitor and employee activity, verifying credentials when required, and reporting unusual or suspicious behavior that could help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Support day-to-day operations at the location by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and inquiries, and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders during incidents.
