In this unarmed patrol role, you will support a caring community through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, people-first approach while responding to routine concerns and reporting activity with professionalism.

Requirements

  • Be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be available for last minute shift scheduling.
  • Be able to travel the required distance for branch flex assignments.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property, including common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and property activity, assisting with visitor interactions, resident concerns, and/or policy-related questions in accordance with post instructions.
  • Support security-related operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating clearly with residents and/or authorized personnel, and following site protocols during routine and unusual events.
