As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Security Clearance Reporting in McKinney, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This is a driving role requiring a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven culture.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and access points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, maintain required logs, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
